This story is based where the skateboard culture is the most foreign, the Midwest. Derrick Cabrera, like all the skaters, have sponsored a dream and one day go pro. He was an athlete up and coming talent of all, but the world against him. Parents, friends and classmates could not understand how Derrick has a lot of passion for something that has no future in their eyes. his crew of friends that skateboarding is the only place he is actually accepted. But, as he becomes better and better, the athletes he looked up enemies become his worst. In sports, skateboarding a single procedure has never been done or can be formed to bring you a star immediately. Derrick was a trick, if only he can make it. When he tried to do this trick, he is faced with skateproofing, jealous friends and the police had it in for him. Derrick was eventually arrested for skating on private property.
