Soren, a young barn owl, is kidnapped by owls of St. Aggie's, ostensibly an orphanage, where owlets are brainwashed to become soldiers. He and his new friend to escape from the island of Ga'Hoole, to support its noble wise owl fight the army being created by the evil ruler of the Holy of Aggie . The film is based on the first three books in the series.
