Digital Performer supports Dae versions 8.0-8.0.3 following Digidesign Pro Tools system:

Pro Tools 8.0 understanding of CS3 or later is strongly recommended. Support pro Pro Tools 8.0.3 requires Pro Tools is installed ahead installing Digital Performer 7.1 or later. If Pro Tools 8.0.3 is installed on Digital Performer 7.1 or later, the Digital Performer charge to run again for Dae to function properly.
Please note: Avid has announced end of uphold for Dae mode for third party applications such as Digital Performer and Logic. Digital Performer 7.24 is assumed that the ending version of Digital Performer to support the use of Dae as a sound machine. While Avid is to confirm a third party Dae support the final, they father opened a third-party support for their Pro Tools | HD Native system.
